Training for Sanggau Regency Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) 2024 Officers

From 30 to 31 May 2024, the Central Statistics Agency carried out training for data collection officers for the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP). This survey is a series of activities for the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023) which will be carried out throughout Indonesia. The Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) is a follow-up survey after the ST2023 complete enumeration which is expected to be carried out periodically in accordance with recommendations from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

The main objective of SEP is to obtain data on economic aspects of agricultural business units, including income, expenditure, cost structure, and welfare indicators of agricultural business units in Indonesia. Apart from that, SEP also provides basic data to monitor one of the indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals (TPB/SDGs).
