Opening Remarks by Mr. Murohman

The event began with opening remarks from Mr. Murohman, who expressed gratitude to the KPPN representatives for their assistance in developing the Integrity Zone at BPS Kabupaten Sanggau. He emphasized that the goal of establishing the ZI is to achieve the Free Corruption Zone (WBK) and subsequently move towards a Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Zone (WBBM). Mr. Murohman highlighted the importance of learning from the experience of KPPN, which has successfully achieved WBK status, to guide BPS in implementing effective strategies.

Presentation on Internalization Program

Mr. Murohman elaborated on the internalization of Ministry of Finance regulations focusing on bureaucratic reform and the development of ZI. He stressed that WBK is a crucial initial step to enhance public trust in government institutions. He also reminded that corruption is not only about significant violations but also includes smaller issues like time corruption. Therefore, raising awareness and promoting work ethics among employees is essential.

Enhancing Professionalism and Discipline

In his speech, Mr. Murohman highlighted that professionalism and employee discipline are key to the success of ZI development. He called on all BPS Kabupaten Sanggau employees to participate actively, emphasizing that the responsibility of building the ZI is a collective task. The success of this program requires collective commitment from all staff members.

Presentation by Mr. Frediek Mulawan from KPPN Sanggau

Mr. Frediek Mulawan presented several key points regarding the refinement of treasury official regulations, the need for more active involvement of Budget User Authorities (KPA), and the role of the Regional State Treasury Holders (BUN). He also addressed the importance of monitoring and re-validation to ensure smooth financial processes and accountability at KPPN.

Presentation by Mr. Agustinus Prasetyo, Head of KPPN Sanggau

Mr. Agustinus Prasetyo emphasized the importance of preparing for WBK/WBBM ZI evaluations, following the Minister of Finance's directive that all offices within the Ministry of Finance should achieve these statuses. He highlighted that ZI development involves all work unit lines and stressed the importance of Evaluation Work Sheet (LKE) standards and leadership commitment as key components of the evaluation. Mr. Agustinus also encouraged innovation and service improvement through change agent programs and SOP reviews.

Conclusion

In this assistance event for developing the integrity zone, the three speakers emphasized the importance of internalizing regulations and conducting socialization related to bureaucratic reform to achieve WBK as a step towards WBBM. They highlighted the need to learn from other successful institutions and the importance of awareness of various forms of corruption, including minor ones like time corruption.
