Sanggau, August 29, 2024 - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Kabupaten Sanggau organized an intensive training session for the personnel of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) focusing on the Social, Cultural, and Behavioral Module (MSBP) as well as the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) for the third quarter of 2024. The training aims to enhance the capacity of field personnel to collect accurate and reliable data.

 

Participants and Training Schedule

The training is attended by 24 prospective participants, consisting of 16 Field Enumerators (PCL) and 8 Field Supervisors (PML). All participants are required to undergo Self-Study sessions on August 29-30, 2024, before engaging in face-to-face sessions. The self-study involves reviewing training materials, including questionnaires, manuals, and online learning resources.

 

Face-to-Face Training

The face-to-face training sessions will take place over three days, from September 3 to 5, 2024, at the Emerald Hotel, Kapuas, Sanggau. The training will begin daily at 8:00 AM and will cover a range of topics related to survey methodology, household updating, and data enumeration. Participants are expected to check in on September 3, 2024, after 2:00 PM and check out on September 6, 2024.

 

Agenda and Training Content

The training will commence with an opening speech from the Head of BPS Kabupaten Sanggau, Murohman. The training content will include a general overview of Susenas MSBP and Seruti, survey methodologies, household listing updates, as well as enumeration and supervision techniques. Additionally, participants will engage in evaluation sessions and role-playing activities to ensure a thorough understanding of their roles and responsibilities.

 

Conclusion

This training is a crucial step in preparing BPS Sanggau's survey personnel to collect high-standard, credible data. It is anticipated that through this training, field personnel will gain a deeper understanding of their roles and responsibilities, and be able to apply more effective enumeration techniques in the field.
