Ensuring Quality Data for More Accurate Policies
From September 11 to 15, 2024, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) in Sanggau Regency carried out supervision of the data update process for the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas). This supervision aimed to ensure that every step of the data collection process adheres to established quality standards, ensuring that the results obtained are accurate and reliable.
The Susenas update is a critical component of collecting social and economic data used to produce statistics that form the foundation for government policy-making. Through strict supervision, BPS Sanggau strives to maintain data integrity, ensuring the accuracy of information gathered from respondents across various regions.
The supervision process involves field monitoring and reviewing data collection methods to minimize errors and ensure that all selected households are accurately recorded. This ensures that the results of Susenas can be effectively utilized for various policy needs, ranging from budget allocations to development programs.
BPS Sanggau appreciates the support of the community and all parties involved in this supervision process. The accuracy of the data maintained through proper supervision will help create policies that are more precise and positively impactful for society.
