The afternoon session focused on ZI evaluation with KPPN Sanggau, led by Mr. Agus and his team. The discussion revolved around identifying weaknesses and improvement opportunities across six ZI pillars, including change management, main activity SOPs, supervision strengthening, and public service quality.
Mr. Agus emphasized the importance of meaningful documentation, such as recording new employees' competencies in meeting minutes, attaching supporting documents like decrees and certificates, and developing annual work priorities followed by evaluations.
Regarding work culture, he highlighted the need for mental training through religious, national defense, and competency-building programs. Risk management and gratification prevention were also addressed, with practical examples such as donating birthday gifts to mosques as a form of gratification control.
Additionally, KPPN encouraged innovations in each ZI pillar, including the implementation of the Banner Monitoring Risk Management (BONTI) initiative to enhance transparency and accountability. Such innovations are expected to be replicable across other service units.
The meetings highlighted the importance of synergy between improving public service quality and implementing bureaucratic reform. Mr. Murohman expressed that the implementation of ZI at BPS Sanggau has often focused on fulfilling supporting documents. "We hope KPPN's guidance can help us better understand and implement the WBK and WBBM concepts," he stated.
BPS Sanggau is committed to the following actions:
1. Improving accountability with comprehensive and valid reporting.
2. Fostering a strong work culture as a foundation for public service.
3. Optimizing employee training and competency development through data- and phenomenon-driven programs.
Through these initiatives, BPS Sanggau aims to deliver better, more transparent, and accountable public services in line with the spirit of bureaucratic reform and Integrity Zone development.
