Distribution of Agricultural Businesses in Sanggau Regency Based on Land Area

Data from the 2023 Agricultural Census revealed that the majority of individual agricultural businesses in Sanggau Regency are small-scale, occupying land less than 0.49 hectares. Kapuas and Meliau districts stood out as areas with the highest number of agricultural businesses across small and medium land categories. Meanwhile, Parindu District recorded a significant contribution to medium to large-scale land categories (>5 hectares).

This highlights the vital role of small-scale farmers in sustaining the agricultural sector in Sanggau Regency. At the same time, the presence of larger-scale farms indicates opportunities for further economic growth in the agricultural sector.
