Demographic Mapping of Individual Agricultural Operators in Sanggau

The 2023 Agricultural Census reveals that the productive age group (35–44 years) dominates individual agricultural operations in Sanggau Regency. Most operators are men, with the highest numbers recorded in Kapuas and Meliau. However, women’s participation, while lower, remains significant in several districts, such as Kapuas and Meliau.

This data underscores the reliance of the agricultural sector on the productive age group while presenting opportunities to enhance women’s involvement across districts. Strategic efforts to empower women in this sector can contribute to the sustainability of agriculture in Sanggau Regency.
